Iraq is our rape baby.
Though I supported us going into Afghanistan I did not support our going into this war. That was then this is now. Iraq is our rape baby and we need to stand beside her until she is old enough to make it on her on. We cannot afford Iraq falling into the hands of true madmen who will use money from the second-largest oil reserve in the world to kill us. I think Bush should go and beg for the UN to send in troops and help us build a government in Iraq that will be recognized not only in Iraq but also in the Arab world. We are in a far more dangerous world without Saddam Hussein then we were when he was in power. This madman in the White House has drawn a bulls eye on the back of every American for any terrorist to see.

2. The UN won't negotiate with Bush. Not so far.
Near as I can tell, they're still pretty ticked. Also, there's no point in dealing with Bush because his word is worthless. The UN doesn't fight, either, it peacekeeps. This is not a peacekeeping situation. Yet.

President Kerry will have to do it.

4. Sad that a US president's word is held in such low esteem...
Truly a low water mark in world affairs.

6. Quite an accomplishment...

Idi Amin was quite a despicable personage if I remember correctly. Cannibalism seems to ring a bell... murderer, tyrant, etc.

7. Rape baby?
You mean it in the sense that Iraq is completely helpless and we're raping it?

I'll agree to that analogy. But I disagree that we should keep doing it.

Tell you what. If you want to stay in Iraq go ahead and do it. Just don't use my tax dollars or my name.

10. No.
Rape baby as in Iraq was minding its on business until Bush invaded it. The country of Iraq now is the offspring from that. Our troops are caught in a crossfire between the factions that are waiting for the turn over at the end of July. We will be in this quagmire for years and so will your tax money.

9. BRING THEM HOME NOW!!!
Pull out now and leave Iraq to al Sadr.

Anything else is continuing an illegal occupation after an illegal war.
