3. amazingly.....not Isikioff!

he was BRUTAL on CIA, other intel failings, including THIS:

on about June 21, CIA guy briefed FBI guys--showed them PICTURES of the one behind the Cole bombing, AND two highjackers at that meeting in Indonesia

THEN, they reFUSED to tell the FBI WHO THEY WERE......said they weren't authorized!

Isikoff said it was a VERY heated meaning, and was especially bad, because this was the HEIGHT of the WH alert situation, and SHOWS the utter breakdown in anti-terror communications

he cited several scenarios leading up to this, each time prefacing them with "and what makes it WORSE!"

Was Rose annoyed? He tends to have a low threshhold for deviations from the establishment club line.

I missed the rest

Sanger has turned out to be, recently, quite the little stenographer

not as egregious as Bumiller (been reading the Daily Howler and other sources on how she's attached by mouth to Karen Hughes alimentary canal), but pretty credulous
