2. Lehman (R)
"(Clinton) couldn't have been more forthcoming or frank."

4. Is Lehman just a suck up?
I mean really. He lobbed softballs at Condi this morning and is now kissing Bill's butt.

6. good point
He did participate in the attempted Clarke smearing during Clarke's testimony, however. And I fully assume he'll say the exact thing after the Cheney/Bush puppet show. So, hard to say. But I was expecting some sort of swipe at Clinton, though.

10. the "Clinton charm" or maybe
it's just the huge contrast between the way the bush administration people are cooperating and the way bill clinton is. and most people who meet bill clinton and talk to him like him. clinton is usually very open about things including things where he was wrong or had fault in. like the rwanda genocide, clinton has no problem saying he could have done more and though not saved all the lives for sure, he is confident they could have saved many if they intervened and regrets it. i'm sure he was the same way with the 9/11 panel. he didn't try to blame others to get defensive about things. he just told it like it was.

11. Yes, I've met Bill
and I like him, too. :hi: I have no doubt he did his usual fine job of explaining things.

I'm saying Lehman just seems to be a little too much in awe of authority.

April 8, 2004—The 9-11 Commission today met in closed private session with former
President Clinton. The meeting was held at the Commission’s request and lasted for
more than three hours. The Commission found the former President forthcoming and
responsive to its questions. We appreciate the excellent cooperation he and his associates
have given to us.
