Iron Hammer, Vigilant Resolve......these names just wreak of testosterone. Has anyone else noticed this?

My sister said today that she expects "Operatoin Big Dick" to be announced any day now. lol

3. Well they aren't going to call it "Operation Harp Seal".
It's miltary, it's war. You don't want some wussy sounding name.

6. Those ones are twisted
aren't they all Afghanistan ops? Somehow they always suggest to me some kind of really insidious new weapon they're using in those particular operations.

11. Very disturbed today with "Resolute Sword"!
I mean, it is like you have just got to be kidding me. On the day before a major Muslim Holy day we come up with "Operation Resolute Sword". Do "they" (our illustrious leaders) want a wholesale slaughter, in every direction? "RESOLUTE SWORD"!! Say that 10 times to yourself after we've been fed "VIGILANTE RESOLVE" all week.

I don't know, I'm just glad not to be in Iraq right now, as a citizen of that country. If we were there as citizens, I and my husband, after having lost many family members and friends would be having a very difficult time with conflicting emotions.
