George W. Fear
that's all he has to run on: fear itself. Roosevelt said, "we have nothing to fear, but fear itself". it's still true, but bush has mutilated it into a campaign platform. 'elect me, and I'll keep you safe from those awful Muslim badguys'. his ads say, 'a strong leader, in times of change', which infer that the times are scary and only he, a person of strong leadership qualities, can protect us.

many repubs point out the ridiculous fact that 'we haven't been attacked since 9-11', as if that were proof that bush's strong personality is holding terror at bay. is that all they have to boast about?

what if one looks at the ugly 'other side' of that argument: 'why HAVEN'T we been attacked since then?' osama is apparently still out there planning for more attacks on us, cheney and rumsfeld have GUARANTEED that we WILL be attacked again. it's almost as if they KNOW there won't be another attack. (my fearful brain is drifting)

bush keeps bragging that the world is now safer because we captured saddam, but fails to mention that osama, the man who supposedly attacked us, is still at large, so how does that make the world safer?

fear is all w has going for him. fear is everywhere now. fear of a terrorist attack. fear of unemployment. fear of a great depression.
fear of a draft being re-instated. fear for our sons and daughters in harm's way. fear of another stolen election. fear of some huge october surprise/dirty trick. fear of the world's scorn. fear of world war three. fear of civil war right here at home. fear of a total meltdown of our union and chaos among we the people.

I'm tired of all the fucking fear already george. i pine for the old days under the last legitimately elected president, Bill Clinton, when i wasn't under constant fear.

and worst of all, i fear another 4 years of this fucking regime from hell. the union and the world simply couldn't stand it. stop the fear. stop bushco from raping America.

1. You're right, the biggest thing we have to be afraid of is four more years
of this bunch. And what's really weird, the rest of the planet is afraid of it too. The bush* cabal is hated universally. Not because they're such a bunch of macho stuffins and muffinettes, but because their corruption is legendary. No one trusts them and because of that fact we are totally isolated, except for the support from Blair. All the cabal's other buddies are either looking for new jobs or shortly will be.

Life was never meant to be safe or easy. I'm not saying not to worry about things, but that shit happens and life is wasted if you live in a constant state of fear. Fear is paralyzing. That's why it's been such an effective weapon for these guys. And they use it very well.

2. I don't feel any safer..............
with Bush at the helm.
I wish someone, ANYONE, would ask the Chimp in Chief WHY we're safer with Saadam gone? Exactly WHY have we sacrificed over 600 brave men and women and over $100 Billion to remove a man that, according to most reliable analyists, posed NO significant threat to the U.S. while reducing resources to combat those who really want and have the ability to do us grievous harm?
I'd LOVE to hear the Chimp's reasoning on this subject. I know, all we'd hear from him is "gassed his own people, rape rooms, torture chambers........" he'd NEVER actually address the questions as posed to him, but I wish someone would at least ask.
I expect a series of *RED ALERTS* leading up to the election, if not some other diversion to let us know that *he's on the job, making the country safer*. My only hope is that the Sheeple wake up to this snake oil salesman's pitch before then, but I'm not overly confident that they will.
