Protest challenges archbishop's ban on washing women's feet

About 100 men and women gathered outside the Cathedral of Christ the King to protest a local edict excluding women from the Holy Thursday foot-washing ritual.

Contrary to an order from Atlanta Archbishop John Donoghue, the protesters said the foot-washing rite should include everyone. Donoghue did not address the protest during Mass Thursday night.

EVERYWHERE I turn, there is some cockamamey religion story in the paper or on the news.. Good Grief.. I am starting to really get scared now.. Theocracy is on the march..worldwide.. What a crying shame..


(look away).. and in every stinking case, it seems to have something to do with the men of the faith, asserting their dominance over women..

last night they had some story about this church that someone dressed up like a bunny and they beat it - to show the kids that Easter is NOT about the Easter Bunny, that there is NO Easter Bunny, and had the little kids crying

religious whackos are dangerous to a free society and children of all ages.
