Very sad news from SLO county CA...
I saw a man at the March20 anniversary protest march here in San Luis Obispo carrying a sign reading "Bring my son home now!" It was a very sombre protest... There were about 500 of us, carring placards, each with the face of a soldier killed in Iraq. His son was with the1st Airborne Division in Baghdad. As it turns out, his son was killed just recently in Sadr City...
I walked behind him for part of the march, and although I never spoke to him, he was the reason we were all there...devastating.

2. Very sad...
My heart goes out to his family and his fiancee. I can't even imagine how she must feel, looking forward to getting married in just a few short months, and now this... :-(

God, I hate war.
