Is This Released PDB A Red Herring?

Isn't there a lot of other evidence, stronger evidence, out there that the Bush administration should have known that a 9/11 type attack was likely to happen?

Like FBI memos on foreigners taking flight lessons to learn how to turn planes only, Moussaui, failure to notify the FAA of intelligence, etc.?

I know I'm forgetting some of the evidence.

1. Everything unpleasant that the Bushies...

... have released on a weekend has had a "make it go away" flavor. I suspect that commission members who have seen the actual briefing document will allude to the fact that there's more to it than 1-1/2 pages.

There is more--much more. But this is all they said they would release at this time.

as proof their was not enough detail to get worried about.

The idea is that the media can sell "forget all the other evidence - and note that this is inexact" - and move on in their 24/7/365 job of selling Bush in 04.

5. If it's released to Faux and CNN first, it is dead in the water.

I think the mal-administartion allowing this stuff out is a red herring in the sense that it is re-inforcing the BS that all of this was perpetrated by Al Qaeda. I think the Bush Crime Family are the real culprits and they will take a charge of negligence over treason any day.
