1. how does HE know? has he seen the whole thing?
he just said "NOTHING in the entire PDB has ANYTHING to do with September 11"

I haven't seen it yet.

how heavily redacted was it?

is he relying on having seen the whole thing?

what's been redacted

Fatboy is now claiming the PDB is a result of dumbo's asking for it.

THAT isn't true, according to CIA sources, right?

I've heard/read that CIA put this up there PRECISELY because there was ZERO interest from anybody high up about these impending attacks

what a SCUMSUCKING liar this shill is

embarrassed to be living in the same state as this jackass

3. The only thing that's been redacted ...
is the names of the two countries which provided specific intel on two of the points.

If I had not read the Briefing , I would believe that it said something like...

OSL is a nice man.
He likes planes.
Sometimes he likes explosives.
Maybe he wants to do something bad to this country.
We don't know when. We don't know where.
So don't worry Mr. Unpresident.
You can stay on your vacation and fish.
You can even go and read a book to little children about Goats.
OBL will not harm YOU or your Pappy.

He may mess with a few of your middle class people that can't afford to fly on private planes.
The FBI may even help you to find out more about this mad person.
Enjoy your vacation and tell Laura we said hello!

was that not important enough, Lard Ass?

4. So is he saying that hijacking for hostages is no big deal?
If they had lifted one finger to deal the threats of hijacking for any reason, they'd have stood a much better chance of stopping 9/11.

That's assuming that preventing the attacks was their intention, of course.

5. He's right. It only said FEDERAL buildings in NEW YORK
The Federal buildings, such as the court houses, are in lower Manhattan near City Hall. A few blocks from the WTC.

Unfortunately, the PDB did not specify whether the attacks would be EAST or WEST of Broadway, so there was nothing Condi could DO.

10. Also, it was insensitive of the hijackers
not to provide airline flight numbers and departure gates and times for Condi.

that mentions that the hijackers requested vegetarian meals for their flight.

12. zackly....that smug fatassprick reminds me of Hugh Scott
the Pa Senator, and Congressman Sandman, back during the last days of RMN, when everyone but them (AND Bob Dole, AND GHWB) were the ONLY rats left on the sinking SS Nixon

I can't WAIT to see this Jabba the Hut humiliated when somebody with some KNOWLEDGE of the situation can get ahold of him, instead of the brainless CNN bimbette who lathered him up with softball after softball, accepting almost everything he said at face value

wish I was taping it, so I could have gotten ALL of his sleazy, disingenous FATuosities down for all to pick apart, but I have priorities: Dave Chappelle marathon

the 9/11 commission hearings. He's the one who confronted Clarke with his "declassified" background press interview.

8. Did they want OBL to send Bush* an invitation
For goodness sake, what more did they need to do something, I mean anything. They say that they only had information about hijackings, but that was enough information to act. They had to hijack the planes before they could fly them into the buildings. Some of their arguments just make me so angry!

Now we know how to spot future Republicans:
They fail to see patterns. They flunk logic. They probably have a poor grasp of one plus one equals two, never mind algebra and analagous reasoning.

A twelve year old with average cognitive skills could have read this and figured out appropriate action to take. Geesh.

As long as the 12 year old wasn't a future Republican.

19. and......as Gail Sheehy so poignantly mentioned, in connection
to the LYING to the FACES of the Jersey widows, this junta ACTIVELY DISCONNECTED the dots

that's right: DISCONNECTED

forget not being able to connect the dots.....DISconnect

did you hear what she said, BTW?

she said that uberslime Mueller, when asked by one of them WHY they were so almost instantaneously able to get photos of Atta at a Cash Machine after the attack, without having open investigations, he said ther WERE none at the time.

CLEARLY, in light of current testimony, a huge lie. Sheehy said Mueller also made this public knowledge

I was SO furious when I heard this (twice, on Ofranken)

14. Here's a MUST READ post by xultar...
Condi needed a warning like this

Condi,

Hello I'm OBL, but you can call me Binny. I'm the guy that Berger warned you about. Listen, Condi, I'm a terrorist. I am going to attack your country on September 11, 2001 @ 8am est or so using airplanes and we (not me some guys who I already sent to the US) going to fly them into the WTC (World Trade Center) and the Pentagon. The third target we are unsure of at the moment but it will for sure be either the White House or the Capital.

Now, you know the guys who are going to fly the planes already. As a matter of fact the FBI has them investigation. The investigations are detailed in the other memo I sent back in July. The memo called, "OBL is Determined to Attack inside the US." (pretty catchy ahe?) AnyHooo, Condi, take care! Love what you've done with National Security.
Love
Binny,

P.S. I sent an notice for a "Meet Up!" to you, Cheney, Rummy, Dummy (your pResident), Powell, and Clarke. Check your email this afternoon. We're gonna discuss Terrorism and the ways you can stop me. I'll bring the sandwiches.

Peace Out...No Really No Peace it is OUT.

16. OH....btw....if you want to know what's really known, and, of course......
ignored by the media,

check the STAFF REPORTS by the commission.

I lucked into finding this week's counterspin on a college radio station today

they had Jim Pinkerton !!!! who defended Clarke, and Mel Goodman, CIA guy, who said the commission reports are so damningly complete that they made almost EVERYThing Clarke said just an exercise in repetition....nothing new to him

here's something else; a show from Democracy Now, saying basicallly the same thing: the staff reports are the treasure trove, even revealing that Kean has been asking some very pointed question, according to the very sadly underpublicized Goodman

Democracy Now....April 9

Ray McGovern, a 27-year career analyst with the CIA who was one of Vice President George Bush daily briefer says Rice's testimony and the events surrounding it have "the very strong odor of the most accomplished PR machine in White House history." Former CIA and State Department analyst Mel Goodman says the staff studies of the commission, which were released the same day as Richard Clarke's testimony and were largely ignored, "make it clear that there was reduced urgency within the Bush administration" on 9/11

http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/04/09/1524219

Counterspin

Some conservative pundits have lined up to take shots at former counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke. That's no surprise, but should they actually be embracing Clarke's message? And is some of the Clarke coverage missing the big picture? CounterSpin will put those questions to Newsday columnist Jim Pinkerton.

Also this week: In reporting on the battle between the White House and its former counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke, the media have often avoided reporting on the plentiful evidence supporting Clarke's charges that the administration didn’t take the Al Qaeda threat seriously enough. What more, says our guest, retired CIA official Melvin Goodman, journalists are failing to report on dramatic details from the September 11 Commission’s initial reports. Goodman will join the show to fill us in on what we're missing.

http://www.fair.org/counterspin/040204.html

don't miss these. Goodman is VERY good, man

17. one of Goodman's most salient points is not surprising: the MEDIA
is ignoring these most revealing staff reports

he says only the NYTimes has had a substantial story on them, with, of course, no followup

there WAS a decent broaching in the Chicago Trib, with some info I hadn't heard here, but, again nothing to followup on this, like, say, oh, the JEFF GERTH smearjob on Clinton, leading to the Fools for Scandal inquisition

and THANK the LORD for AAR!!!!!!!!

It's changed my viewing/listening habits.....changed my expectations, from not wanting to watch/listen to anything, for fear of having BP raised to dangerous levels, to one of Christmaslike anticipation, knowing that, aside from some lame comic forays, that most of what is heard is manna!

god....the FLOOD of rational, informed voices has been, just in the first ten days, simply staggering. even BETTER than I'd hoped

AND.....according to Randi Rhodes, attracting over 2 MILLION streamers in measured hourly periods! can't believe that's correct, but it's what she said!

"Shit man, they didn't lay a glove on Condi, she told 'em exactly what the PDB is all about"

Condi was up for the fight, she even flossed her teeth with Mike Tyson's jump rope, cuz she knew she was gonna smile a lot on that day.

21. that's RIGHT!
conversely, the freaking "quick reponse team" of the Kerry campaign better get out some ads featuring the TITLE of the PDB, and the dems had better take advantage on the gasbag shows, too

if EVER there was a simple, unanswerable in similar bitage, way to put and KEEP these prix on the defensive, THIS is the ONE!

just do what they do all the time: repeat this over and over and over and over
