heard some of this, in even more painful detail, on a Randi Rhodes replay today.....many of you must've heard it, too.
it really got to me
not much on it, webwise, that I could find, but the article in which it appears is significant, in that it sort of predicts the eventual creation of the 911/Warren Commission we see today
here:
While other Sept. 11 family members sat behind her weeping, she recalled how her husband, Ron Breitweiser, a senior vice president at Fiduciary Trust Co. in the south tower, talked with her by phone as he watched the north tower burn.
People were jumping from the fire to their deaths. But he told his wife, "Sweets, I'm fine. I don't want you to worry." A few minutes later the second plane hit.
Breitweiser said she used to imagine her husband was instantly transported to heaven. But then his wedding band was recovered from ground zero with part of his left arm, shattering her fantasy, she said. Holding up her hand with the charred wedding ring Wednesday, Breitweiser told members of the House and Senate intelligence committees who make up the joint inquiry that a "hallmark of democratic government is a willingness to admit to, analyze and learn from mistakes."http://www.sptimes.com/2002/09/19/Worldandnation/Attack_clues_ignored_.shtmlon the Rhodes show, she recalled how Breitweiser talked about how the things she told her daughter, who'd never get to know her dad, and how she KNEW he suffered, as the ring was scratched, dented, damaged, but she'd wear it til the day she died.
also in the article, Richard Shelby told reporters that he was certain that this would finally spur the creation of an "independent"
commission.
Oh, and how many people remember Eleanor Hill? funny about that one, and the battle she LOST with the admin
check it out
note the date on this, and see how far we've come, but how ADAMANTLY this corrupt pusfield full of excreants has resisted ANY and all attempts to get at the truth
I wish Kerry would campaign on a platform of full investigation/disclosure/INDICTMENT of those responsible
