Rice will manage Iraq's 'new phase'

WASHINGTON — President Bush is giving his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, the authority to manage postwar Iraq and the rebuilding of Afghanistan.

Each committee will be headed by a Rice deputy and include representatives of the State, Defense and Treasury departments and the CIA.

US companies were complaining that they couldn't subcontract to Brown and Root, etc. fast enough to rake in the profits immediately. So that was HER function.To funnel the taxpayers' money into greedy "reconstruction" firms.
