And I bet many of management were in church today, feeling holy.

I really don't like the vomiting emoticon, but I'm feeling very sick.

This sux.

4. Don't shop at King Stupid's anyway.
It's gonna get hard to find a grocery store at this rate though.

12. I'm with ya, SSJ!
I'm angry, but I'm also grieving.

I've been priviledged to meet some really fine people who work there, and I'm soooo hurt *for* them. I would give anything to be able to do something to make this better for them.

I've had days that have gone all wrong, and feel like crap, and I go to my local King Soopers and one of the three people is always there (sometimes two of them), and I get a hug and a friendly word, and my day immediately improves. That's the kind of people they are. Now, they are in need, and there's not much I can do except to let them know I care. Crap.

I'm very ashamed of my country!

These are good people ---they don't deserve to be treated like this!

I will write letters, but.... the deal is sealed.

anger, frustration, saddness... it all just sux.

7. it's time for the Unions to start doing their fucking jobs
one thing that really pissed me off during the grocery strike here in CA was that the teamsters only supported them for ONE WEEK, the week of THANKSGIVING. the rest of the time they kept making deliveries to the stores.

Now there's just about EVERYTHING wrong with that.

8. This is a grocery chain?
How big is it? Does it have a corporate parent?

9. They're everywhere in Colorado
But I don't believe they're in any other states. At least none in the West, to my knowledge (unless that's changed in the last 2 years)

10. Can't answer how big off the top of my head
Kroger is now the "parent" (abusive parent???)

It was started many many years ago, as a Mom and Pop, and I understand that King himself was quite a good person.

Corporate crap is going to be the undoing of EVErYONE.
