1. I really like the format of Peter's show

Where he does the first two hours as a call in show, but then the last hour he does an in depth interview. So we get discussion and we get to be informed. Nice mix.

We have enough shows here to start a SECOND Liberal/Progressive radio network.

Who wants to invest?

I'm betting we can do it without buying whole radio stations.

Peter was singing praises about www.WhiteRosesociety.org earlier...mentioned your name. I agree...we have enough strong (in Malloy's case...VERY STRONG) voices still just dangling in the wind out there! I'll bet that when Air America broadens it's base...and you know as well as I do that it will...these guys will be brought on board! :headbang:

I think that their voices may be TOO strong for Air America which wants to make money more than it wants to push the liberal agenda.

We need a not-for-profit corporation to take risks like that.

I do know that Air America had a chance to hire Werbe, Malloy and James and decided not to.

I am really serious about this. Who wants to work on this idea?

5. But isn't the money a big obstacle?

Is it really feasible? We would need hundreds and hundreds of small investors because I do not believe we have too many people here that have a lot of money.

to each donate 100 dollars, we'd have a million dollars to work with...

More to the point, if we could get somebody like Bill Gates Sr. or George Soros onboard, in addition to the small donations, we could make a go of it.

NPR affiliate stations manage to do it.
