this administration has stooped to a new low
I'm talking about the use of Marine snipers that are being used in falluga----Ive read article after article (informationclearing house.org) of how innocent people in falluga are being gunned down by marine snipers on roof tops, bridges etc....there also was supposed to be a cease fire called by Bremmer and it seems that the marines didn't observe it---they continued to shoot down women and children----I cant believe that this is going on and Bush and his cronies are standing by it---this is unbelievable----Its like the marines think they are shooting diseased rats----

2. Please post specific links
for this information. Your writing style is somewhat sensationalistic - diseased rats? :eyes:

5. It's (sadly) predictable
Stress out a group of soldiers, and a certain number of them will go "bugf*ck" and start killing people on whim. John Kerry's "Winter Soldier" investigation found that was common in Vietnam, which is why so many wingers are accusing him of treason.

This is a kind of secondary victimization -- atrocities are a traditional part of the horror of war.

Don't blame the USMC. They've been dealing with this since Teddy Roosevelt's time, at least.

Blame the boss -- and you know who he is, don't you?

7. Our soldiers are tired and sick
And sick and tired. They've been lied to, and in a much bigger way than the rest of us. Sent to hell, then not allowed to leave when they fulfill their obligation. My heart goes out to them.

On the other hand, asking trained killers to switch to peacekeeping mode only reveals that this administration never cared about peace in the first place, but only control.

8. I had heard it was those civilian contractor military types doing
all the shooting - the ones that started this whole mess.

10. I am sick at heart over the accounts I've been reading of this and
other US atrocities. It's hard for me to believe our soldiers are behaving this way toward the Iraqi's, but I've seen some of the videos myself, I've seen the px, I've read the first hand accounts . . . It's happening.

11. think this through
How in the hell after all this is over , can we gain the hearts and minds of these people whom we are annialating...this is bullshit...I personally would have to hand in my rifle if I was taking part in this....or at least refuse to kill innocents.
