...Rove and Hughes are the same person on the INSIDE. One has a penis, one does not. Other than that they are the same person.

Rove's "demotion" can probably be summed up by "a lower public profile." He's most likely still getting paid, and he is such an evil scumbag rotten-to-the-core s.o.b. that BushCo couldn't POSSIBLY turn a deaf ear to "The Boy Genius," also affectionately known as "The Man With The Plan."

Hughes has been making all of the warm and fuzzy personal appearances, talking about how she used "her time off" to teach her son to drive and other crap no one other than the brown shirts would care about.

She is the "kinder and gentler" face of Karl Rove but she is no less evil and he didn't give up any of his turf...they just built a bigger trough for the pigs to feed in.

What happened to Roves'?

Karen can still have sex. Karl could slather a whole tube of Astro-glide on that limp noodle and it wouldn't work like it would for her....

They're trying to take him out of the re-election picture early in order to distance themselves from him, because the grand jury already determined he broke the law on one occasion in the Valerie Plame affair. They're looking into it further, and it's been said that it may be even worse than what they thought, but everyone at that level already knows Karl is toast.
