They are so blind..and yet so bold..

It amazes me every time I hear one of them speak about the "investigation".. They are always saying.. "This cannot be partisan.. the public does not want "gotcha"..we've got to stop "pointing fingers"... we don't need to assess "blame"... we've got to look forward..

My goodness.. they have "group alzheimers" too... That's the only explanation ..

These are the very same people who thought that going back over 30 years of a president's past, allowing a bogus lawsuit to proceed during his term, stubbornly blocking everything that president proposed, impeaching him for lying about sex, loudly and frequently undermining anything that he tried to do, etc etc etc..was a fair and correct thing to do, and NOW that their widdle boy is shown to be a lying cowardly weasel, they want evenyone to "be nice"..

They somehow cannot see that just MAYBE they had not been so dead-set to destroy Clinton for 8 years (and then some) , he might have been able to spend more time addressing the terror issue. I know they will never see this, but one can dream..

The fact that Clinton got ANYTHING done, amazes me.. On his WORST day, he accomplished ten times what jr could on his BEST day..

It also amazes me that the have to know that they are tied to a rotting corpse (bush), yet they cannot cut him loose.. They are so enamored of his phony platitudes and promises excuses, that they are deaf to any criticism, and blind to any fault..

True Lemmings..

1. It's the "present" stuff that bugs me!
Who cares what they said in the past ... now they're claiming the Aug 6 PDB, entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Within US" does not warn of bin Laden strikes within the US.

I would like to see a study of coronary disease among Republicans .. one cannot repress one's reading comprehension as much as they do without having adverse health effects.

3. My dad was a lifelong repub until Reagan
He had three heart attacks in one day two summers ago ... been doing great since.

He says it was the party that changed more than him - but nonetheless I am glad he got out of the racket! He might be dead now if he had to stress himself out trying to support Bush!

7. I still do not think this is the GOP of old. I was one
My whole family were and we did not think like they do. Church and State for one thing, Wars for other and spending all this money was also a NO No.

they just change the channel. It's all out in the open now.

We don't worry our beautiful {little} minds with those ugly thoughts.

Reminds me of spooks (at least in movies) trained to beat the lie detector by role playing someone else in their mind. Oh no. We didn't make the dirty. It isn't really smeared all over our faces either. You're just thinking the wrong thoughts.

A moment of clarity. ah

btw . Some 'Americans' actually go around pointing out ways that "Satan" is at work in someone else's life. IOW, "the devil is doing this to you". What made me think of that?

5. I have thought the same thing.
Soon as one of theirs gets on the hot seat...they want him/her pulled off ASAP and they hope nobody was paying to much attention to it at the time.

All you hear is those repetetive statesments like... "We need to get back to running this country." and "The people don't want no more mud slinging, partisanship they want us to get back on task and take care of business." or "The commission was created to address the issues, so as, to insure this doesn't happen again. Not to asign blame." or "The people that elected us want us to stop wasting there tax dollars and get back to work." "The public is tired of all this finger pointing..." "The economy just needs a little jump start, that's all." "The casualties are not that high and this is just a small number of Saddam Loyalist" "There was so weapons of mass destruction, I seen em, they just hid em somewhere thats all!"

WOW, a person could just go on and on.... I'm Pooped!

6. "Accountability"
A key word in the 90's that I heard 10 times a day. Along with "arrogance", "illegal fundraising" and "nobody is above the law". Now I never hear those words from the media or the right wing.

10. "Don't you just "love" republicans??"
I have a close friend who is a Republican and we constantly get into arguments. I don't like to even broach the topic with him. Pro-War, Pro-Gun, Anti-Abortion but would kill an animal in a heartbeat, Pro-Bush, Pro-big business, self-righteous, uggg, need I go on?

>>My goodness.. they have "group alzheimers" too... That's the only explanation .. <<

They are perfect human beings. Not subject to the laws of nature like the rest of us.

The group alzheimers reference cracked me up. Does a such thing exist? :)

>>The fact that Clinton got ANYTHING done, amazes me.. On his WORST day, he accomplished ten times what jr could on his BEST day..<<

Oh I completely agree. He was the brightest President we've ever had. He had a better grasp of politics and world politics. Who cares what his person life is or was, at least he got the job done, and at the end of the day hundreds of soldiers weren't lying dead in teh streets of Iraq.

12. It used to be that leaders had to be accountable not simply
for what they had done themselves but also for what simply happened "on their watch." If something goes wrong is there not a root cause? Finding out whose failures may have contributed to the deaths of 3,000 people is not "pointing fingers" or "assigning blame" its requiring accountability.
