9-11 Hearings: Anyone at all mention John O'Neill ?
I have been away, and am not able to listen to everything due to work.
There is a very interesting archive article on Politex today, stressing again, the connection between John O'Neill and Richard Clarke:

Has anyone at all on the commission ever mentioned that John O'Neill was told to STOP investigating Bin Laden and the Cole bombing???

If not, then the commission is a whitewash and not even worth following...ARGH!!

1. Ben Veniste mentioned him a couple times in the questioning
of Freeh.

Nothing terribly compelling, as I recall.

2. Ben Veniste gave him a mention, but...
I don't remember the question. Check the tapes or transcripts.

3. Not publicly. Maybe in closed door hearings.

Since people can more easily understand a complicated story by looking at one person's role in it, John O'Neill's story is the big one for getting both the neocons and 9/11.

I'd send Wm. Pitt's essay 'Hell to Pay' to every 9/11 panelist and want all of America to read it on the front page of frikkin' 'USA Today!'

He is in the dedication to Richard Clarke's best-selling book 'Against All Enemies.'
