You guys have it all wrong! George W. IS creating jobs!

On NPR today: an interview with a guy who drove a truck in Iraq for KB&R until he was almost blown away. He made 80k tax free...he took the job because he needed to raise funds for his kid's education. Tell me, what's wrong with this picture!

5. Hostile Territory...

When I was in the Persian Gulf it was considered Hostile Waters...so our pay was tax free...

4. You don't have to pay taxes on money earned overseas

I know a lot of people who have gotten rich working Saudi Arabia, and they didn't have to pay taxes. In college, my best friend's dad went to work for Saudia Airlines after Eastern went under. He made a fortune, and paid no taxes.

8. not sure...maybe if you work for the government

but my husband and I pay federal taxes..it's reduced, because we also pay income tax in the country we are working.

10. Depends on the tax rate of the country you're in. Iraq probably

has no income tax.

9. I heard that too. But my question is:WHY DON'T THEY HIRE IRAQI DRIVERS?

Maybe if this driver would have thought about that he would not be surprised by people there getting mad about American drivers transporting their fuel in their country.
