6. 18 Minutes!!!!!!!!!!
Norah O. on MSNBC just said that Bush will speak for up to 18 minutes!!!!!!!

We may have a new defintion for the "18 minute gap"!!!!

If he really does this ... it's going to be a diaster. Can you imagine the Washington press corp having to sit still under those hot lights for nearly 20 minutes before they're even allowed to ask questions?

8. This can only be good news for the nation.
We know he isn't literate. He'll embarrass the neo-cons. He has such a short attention span, that five minutes into the speech his mind will lose focus and then he will start straying from the script. He'll start dropping a few 'Bushisms' into his statements and the whole nation will get a change to see why we need regime change in this country.

9. WAIT a minute.
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 07:18 PM by Cat Atomic
His opening remarks last SEVENTEEN minutes, then he's taking rehearsed questions for TWELVE minutes, and we're still calling this a fucking PRESS CONFERENCE?

It's a campaign speech with a short question and answer session. This NOT a press conference.

23. the media are are really playing this up--it is disgusting
this is being treated like a soap opera. It is totally disgusting how the TV media is playing it up.

Almost seven hundred of our children have died in Iraq, and thousands upon thousands of innocent Iraqi old men, women, babies and children have been murder by this prick, and he emerges on national TV as a soap opera character.

Sure they play this up as a "crisis" for Bush--of course he will emerge unscathed and the entire pathetic performance will be praised and he will have conquored the "crisis"

Clearly, says the news babe, this is a crucial event for this stupid man.

This is American brohahah and it would be amusing if not so many have died at the hands of this clown.
