Here's my hunch about tonight's "press conference"...

....I think he'll spend most of his 18 minute monologue preparing the American people for the bloodbath that's about to occur in Najaf, or whatever the name of that city is where Sadr is holed up.

6. Prolly practiced all night for 8.5 days for this one.

He looks so frazzled and weak, like he is embarrassed and confused at the same time. Could be pissed that hardly anyone believes him anymore.

Guilt? Because he didn't fully comprehend the DPB? or didn't read all of it? Perhaps.

mid-afternoon, the opening speech went from 12 minutes to 16-18 minutes. I'll bet it's because he'll announce the capture & the press will then politely draw back into their hole.

Of course, Sadr's capture certainly won't solve everything and is more of the personal evil-doer bad strategy that got us here. And it may make things worse. But it will get him out of this press conference.

My hunch..........
