Kristen Breitweiser just said on Hardball that al-Qaida called off an attack on the Olympics in Atlanta because of the massive security. Had anyone heard this before?
Info came from a guy in jail with one of the al-Qaida people on trial in New York. The fellow inmate was a mob guy awaiting trial. She gave the name of the al-Qaida person who told this to the fellow inmate but I didn't get the name.
She was trying to say had we made public that we were putting in place all this extra security during the "summer of threat" that they may have called off 9/11 too.
I applaud the 9/11 widows. They are the only ones asking the questions that we really need to have answered. I hope Kristen writes a book. She amazes me every time I see her interviewed.
I was hauling air freight then and couldn't get a load out of Atlanta for 3 days because of the idiots at the loading dock who had a problem over where I parked my truck. I even moved it farther away and offered to let them search everything.
Finally got one where I had to go empty to Nashville. The only reason I even wanted the load was because it was going to Miami and I hadn't see Florida yet at the time. In hindsight I shoulda just taken the first load out.
That said it was at level 4 for a good while even before the Olympics so something must have been up.
