Try to be objective. Do you think it seems as bad to everyone else as it is to us? Or do they just hear the soundbites? ("any inkling...the oceans won't protect us...we must be strong")

I posted something very similar to your thread, but stuff is sinking rapidly tonight.

Try this: imagine you're interviewing this guy for a job. Ask yourself: is he clear, concise? Can he convey a thought? Can he complete a sentence? Would you hire him?

That may help with the objectivity. The guy is a buffoon, plain and simple.
