Bush* Looked Disheveled. Letterman Hair. Ill-Fitting Suit...
that looked like he had slept in it. Puffy eyes. Mush-mouth at times. OVER-enunciating at others. Clearly not understanding the meaning of the words he was phonetically assembling a-la "hooked-on-phonics".

Oh brother.

1. Other than that....
he was impressive. Seriously, his physical appearance was second only to his "communication" in its sloppiness and lack of clarity.

3. is it just me, or ist that a reciever in his left ear?

Was it supposed to be a hearing aid, or was it a radio earpiece? I was flipping through the channels, and noticed that it was clearer on C-Span, who had a medium close up shot for most of the speech, where the other networks seemed to be zoomed further out.

7. Queer eye for the ....... guy?
I've noticed that he has lost weight. Evidentally his suits don't fit anymore and no one has suggested a tailor. He seemed like he could have used a haircut or styling or something. Since Laura doesn't bother much about her tailoring of her off-the-rack wardrobe, I guess we can't count on her to help him out.

8. Probably just my personal prejudice but
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 08:58 PM by Rowdyboy
I thought he looked bad and sounded worse. He stuttered and stammered, didn't seriously attempt to answer most of the questions, repeated certain catch phrases over and over, and totally appeared off balance.

That said, the liberal media (yeah, right) will probably call him "resolute" and "determined". It just makes me sick to my stomasch.

10. Did you catch the hypnotic tie action?
Seriously...I had to change it to Cspan to get away from the "pulsing" tie.

It was undulating and doing weird things on regular cable news because of the stripes!

11. How can anyone support this barely functional alcoholic illiterate
president??

Fuck if I were a terrorist, I'd PRAY he got re-elected...he is EMBARRASSING? Couldn't the biggest superpower in the world reach above the bottom of the fucking barrel??

He stammered at every single question except the ones that were faxed....and perhaps the most telling answer he gave tonight was when asked if he was sorry..he said he was sick...closest fucking thing to the truth I heard all night!

What a fucking embarrassing joke!

16. How Can Oxxfords Costing $2,000+ Be Ill-fitting - Yet They ARE!

Stitch in time produces new classic
Chicago Sun Times May 6, 2001 by Lisa Lenoir
-----------------------------------------------------

President George W. Bush steps into the spotlight looking like a man fresh off the pages of GQ magazine. His black cashmere overcoat delicately drapes his shoulders, the blue stripe tie radiates against his white shirt and the suit perfectly fits his fit form. What a contrast after seeing Bush's hokey business and Western attire on the campaign trail. The 10-gallon hats and cowboy boots caused many fashion watchers to shake in their boots. But Bush's past style lapses are forgivable because, since his inauguration he's been wearing some of the best tailored garments --Oxxford suits.

The Chicago-based Oxxford Clothes is the gentlemen's club for the well-dressed. In the summer issue of Forbes' FYI magazine, Oxxford was appointed the best suit to own in the list of "50 of America's Best." The article touted the fact that the suits are still made by hand entirely in Chicago and that pattern pieces are individually cut from one piece of fabric. ....

Oxxford has dressed some of the most powerful and famous men in the world, in addition to the current president, his father and former Presidents Gerald R. Ford and Lyndon B. Johnson, mob boss Al Capone, Cary Grant and Edward, the Duke of Windsor. Hollywood stars Nicolas Cage in "The Family Man" and Jeff Bridges in "The Contender" were costumed in Oxxford suits.

When brothers Louis and Jacob Weinberg founded the company in 1916, they were determined to make the best suit. They used the finest fabrics and designed only simple, timeless shapes. This guiding principle ensures Oxxford continues to create top-notch garments for a price --$2,000 to $14,000 --that loyal customers are willing to pay. Oxxford produced 25,000 handmade garments and had $30 million in sales last year, according to Roger Parfitt, the company's chief operating officer. ....

18. thanks, Doll
keep reminding people. Tune them into the truth.

Bush tries his best to paint people as "elitest", "pampered", etc.

He primps and preens better than the best of them.
