The damage is done. The power now lies with the media.

The media can spin this and push the election one way or the other.

They can replay the scripted lines he did well and say, "oh how humble and wonderful he is".

OR

If the media would replay over and over the meltdown he had over the question he wasn't expecting... the election would be over. If they played that as many times as they played the "Dean scream" Bush would lose the election.

Now... what will the media do...

I am so sad. You are right. Why not replay the unscripted comment over and over again or all of the ums or non answers. SAD, SAD,SAD.

2. The major networks will spin.....but

it will not look pretty on the late night talk shows. I can see it now - Letterman is going to have a field day. Even whore Leno won't be able to resist this one. Also, there are still some honest print journalists who no doubt will get a whack out of this.
