Why did Canadians boo the US national anthem in Montreal tonight?
At the Canadians vs Bruins game.

Because of Iraq?

Anyone know? I haven't read a reason why.

Actually, they been booing a couple of years now (at least I think two being a Canes fan and NHL fan).

7. it happens all the time in sports...
in soccer for example, it is fairly common for the people in the stadium to boo while the national anthem of the opposing team is on.

12. Actually I am very disappointed in the Canadians today. The
government has started killing baby seals again in huge numbers for none other than money of course. The semantics are that these are not baby seals because they are not two weeks old and totally dependent on their moms. No, they are 3 and 1/2 weeks old so they are no longer white; they are grey. I am so disgusted with mankind; perhaps we have been around long enough.
