After long and hard thought, I decided I have to vote for Bush.
It's an economic thing, see?

I'm a psychologist and I specialize in things like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I also work with criminal populations.

Bush is sure to keep this war thing going for a while, and expand it into a few other countries. That will be good for business, especially since he'll no doubt keep down the appropriations to the VA system, so there are going to be a lot of PTSD cases running around the country without access to treatment in a year or 2. They'll either have health insurance, in which case I can make a bundle treating them, or they won't, in which case they'll get into all kinds of trouble with alcohol, drugs, petty crimes and the like, and a few of them will flip out big-time (as Pappa Dick would say) and commit some horrendous crimes, which will in turn generate a need for a lot of forensic psych evaluations--competency issues and the like.

So--sorry, folks. I'm voting for Bush.

4. Well
who wants a psychologist who is f**ing nuts?

I know you're kidding but things could get so bad that even the psychologists will be murdered by the angry soldiers coming back here.

If you make a whole lot of money off of the war, your great grandson might become president!

10. What about Bob?
What is going to happen when you decide you need a break from these characters
and they cannot bear to be away from you?

Perhaps you should consult (or treat) Dr. Leo Marvin
before making what is left
of your mind.

12. Be careful you don't become part of the problem
instead of the solution - I personally know one of someone in your profession that now counsels GIs about the terrors of sharing a refrigerator in GITMO. Of course, this must have made this person's "helping" in NYC after 9/11 so much more meaningful. Should make a nice contrast to "tales of a mad housewife" in the old private practice back home. By the way, you must have the patience to submit those insurance claims over, and over, and over, and over, if you want the $$. Course, you could also drop the patient in mid-stream unless they cough up the fee out of pocket, or you could do it gratis and call yourself a "patriot." How nice for you and your WIN-WIN (dollar) situation.
