4. He's an ass who knows nothing He has his name on several

books as writer, however the books were actually written by a friend of my and King just puts him name on it. One time he was on a book signing tour and a buyer asked a question about the book and he just stared blankly, luckily my friend was there to respond.

Where else would we go to learn vital information like:

1) What was Tony Randall doing the night he heard Rock Hudson died?
Answer: he didn't remember

2) Where Steve and Edie Gormet were when they found out Steve Allen died?
Answer: they didn't remember

And loads of other stuff about famous celebrities from the past I've never heard of....and I'm over 40!

7. Celebs like his "softball" questions.

They like to be interviewed by King because he goes easy on them. He's the "good cop" while Mike Wallace in his prime was like the "bad cop" in terms of interview technique. On a King-related topic, I wonder if USA Today still runs that inane column of his.
