Was he his usual self and simply fucked everything up as usual? Slurred speech, hesitation, a smirk or two? Did he answer questions in a stupid way?

3. A stellar performance...
He hit every note like a diva. He was the embodiment of perfection. Bravo, Sir Bush!

7. I agree!

That was absolutely magnificent!
The only parts where he somewhat stumbled were the few instances when the person feeding talkingpoints into Bush's earpiece went for a pee break, leaving Bush propagandaless.

Other than that, sheer perfection! Strong, brave, yet humble!

4. uh, blah, blah, blah, freedom, almighty,

to compare Iraq to Vietnam would be disrespecting our troops, blah blah, uh, I can't think of any mistakes, give me a second, maybe one will pop into my earpiece that I'm supposed to keep turned away from the camera. Blah blah, ah, uh, God Bless United States and all Civilized Peoples!

9. He did well
The polls have Condi as 2-1 favorable and I suspect the same here. We at DU are the 1 but I bet Bush did well among the Independents. Condi was about 61% with them and Clarke was about 33%. The reality is that plain and simple speak sells.

11. Coincidentally, Bush coined a new geographic region: "the Caucus."
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 10:57 PM by Minstrel Boy
I assume he meant the Caucasus, but you never know.
