If Bush picks up five points from this bogus "news conference" and
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 11:30 PM by Zinfandel
his barrage of TV & radio commercial/ads that are flooding the airwaves right now to coincide with tonights news conference spectacle... and with the media kissing his ass on all the TV news channels...along with all the WH thugs dominating every channels forums.

If people are that easily swayed, by this combination of shit going on tonight, enough to give him a five point bump (as the pollsters will tell us tomorrow)...then just think, how these same moderate fence sitters who hold the election in the balance, will be swayed
by Bush, if and when he produces a bin Laden capture, or produces (planted) WMD, or when the RNC is in NYC to exploit 9-11 right before the election?

They are so easily swayed it makes me sick.

BushCo knows all they have to do is cheat, lie, smear and come up with phony bullshit, just until the election and then it's too late...they know they'll win...nothing else will matter and all their lies and planting and smearing can be exposed afterwards...and it won't matter and they won't give a shit, because by then it'll be too late, they are already in and there will be no possible way to get them out...

This is a sickennig, but very real and effective strategy to hold onto the presidency. They can also steal the election through electronic voting machines (BBV) it doesn't really matter---once the crooked election is announced that Bush has won...it's over, no way to get them out of office...Not with a republican Congress, Senate, President, Attoney General, Supreme Court and a republican owned corporate media.

Is this fascism? You bet it is!!!

2. Not if he exposes WMD right before the election to prove his case,
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 11:27 PM by Zinfandel
that we were threatened and this same proof, that we had to go into Iraq.

If the blatantly planted WMD are exposed, even right after the election...it won't matter...they are in for four more years.

Who and how could they ever be removed?

4. I absolutely do not understand...
how anyone could have thought that sputtering pile of shit performed well. He could not put two coherant sentences together to save his life.

Watching it made me ashamed to be an American. Just imagine what someone from another country would have thought if they could have stood watching it. It was embarrassing!

11. That's why it is CRITICAL - WAY WAY CRITICAL - to weigh in, yourself!
Note my sig line - TOLL FREE to Capitol Hill. Call somebody tomorrow morning. They'll need to hear your view because they sure as heck are gonna be hearing it from the wingnuts.

And - here again is a list of media contacts as compiled by several of us here. Two posts' worth of BEYOND EXCELLENT resources (but they ARE long - LOTS to choose from) on the following thread:

Please note, here, The World's Greatest Lists of Media Contacts - not one but TWO of 'em - in the following thread:
