Activist Bev Harris will be at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas on Thursday to talk about the perils of electronic voting.

The lecture, which will begin at 6 p.m., is titled "Black Box Voting: Ballot Tampering in the 21st Century" and is being sponsored by the Dallas Democratic Forum. Ms. Harris is expected to discuss, among other things, problems with electronic voting in Collin County.

1. I'll miss Bev by a few of days. Damn!
I am leaving the mountain on Friday or Saturday for the drive back to Dallas. The 4/28 planned move day might change, though. Mrs/Dr DemoTex has some serious medical questions that might necessitate sticking around Dallas for a few more weeks. We will do what we have to do, relatively to her health.
