If the draft came back......
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 11:26 PM by RummyTheDummy
What would be the eligible age groups 18-?

I'm trying to determine if I'd rather go to prison or renounce my citzenship and move to another country. Sorry for another draft post, but I haven't seen this question answered to my satisfaction.

2. Going to Canada won't work.
The U.S. signed a treaty with Canada allowing extradition of draft dodgers.

I think the maximum age is 36 but only certain specialists between 26 and 36 would be drafted. Mostly it will probably be 20-year-olds.

5. If Team Bush wins, it's a done deal
And I think this time, the draft will be universal, involve both genders, and the only deferments will be for conscriptees unfairly saddled with an onerous burden of wealth.

After the experience of a draft for a happy-war-turned-abbatoir, we can expect either the Republican Party -- or the American Republic -- to be dead within ten years.
