Poll question: Poll, Bush slithered away without scars? Came off as coming to the People,
showing Courage?

Played his strong card, Terrorism, Iraq, Loyality to the
Troops, Freedom, etc. Sheep bought it.

Or not.

1. All are true, depending on who you ask

I would say the idiocy rubbed away any coherent point he was trying to make, but just the simple fact that he 'refuses to back down' or some other meaningless platitude will lift the hearts of his diehards.

11. I dunno, even some of the freepers are damning with faint praise.
Lines like "he did okay but it wasn't a home run" mixed in with the inevitable jawohl posts. and fretting about Kerry's lead, and that Bush will be another Ford.

5. Stratifying Everything to Everyone Speech
It's a stratifying speech.

Those of us who see him for the drooling simian he is were once more underwhelmed by his evasiveness, ignorance, and arrogance.

Those who love him and think he is God's gift to America will find that ballyhooed "strength of leadership," "moral conviction," and "humility before the Almighty and the American people."

Everything to everyone.

8. Totally agree, Bush is many things to many People
But in my book, he succeeded in diverting attention to his failings.

Clever of Rove. Diversion.
