1. Not really.
Not really that surprising. I usually hold what would be considered conservative views and my support for Bush is not all that high. For several reasons. I do find it disappointed that the democratic party didn't nominate someone more moderate or that the republicans didn't run someone else(but being realistic everyone knows that wouldn't work) Although I do think many of you are bit looney I do enjoy reading what you guys say and at least seeing the other side ;)

*wonders if I will now be attacked and told to leave.

3. I don't think you'll be attacked
or asked to leave.

You seem like a nice enough person to me. Just because you don't agree with all my politics doesn't mean I want to call you a name or anything.

4. RRrrrrroooowwww!
There, you've been attacked. :D

Just out of curiousity, why would a conservative hold Bush in low regard at the moment? It's rare that you find one who will actually admit it.

7. Welcome
:hi:

We've got all kinds of people over here, converted Republicans to lefties. We're definitely not of one monolithic voice, and we have our disagreements.

You won't be attacked and told to leave unless you act like an a$$hole. I'm pretty sure the same goes for everybody.

8. Yeah, you being here is ok by me; not that it counts for much but it is
nice to see the other side rather than the crazy freepers who hate everyone and everything.

11. That's OK. We welcome moderate/conservative democrats here.
We have people here from all parts of the left 50 percent of the political spectrum.

5. Wow
Over 110,000 people responded and Kerrys is at 62%. Very Nice. Makes me laugh, because had that been Clinton the president giving the speech the numbers would have been 62% FOR the President. bush the great obfuscator has failed again. Maybe people aren't so dumb.

9. They left out the choice "a ham sandwich"
Bush stone-cold sucked tonight.

I have a (mostly) non-political board I moderate and tonight everyone was shell-shocked at how * was incoherent and rambling.

Even the moderates and some of the repubs were grossed out by him.

14. Good news.
Tonight's press conference was laughable. He just kept repeating the same tired excuses over and over and committed several "Bushisms," which will make the books. It is just so discouraging.
