Last week, American authorities arranged a meeting of the former Iraqi dictator with his wife.

She was the first of Hussein"s relatives to meet with the ex-leader of Iraq at a new place, at the American military base in Qatar. Accompanied by Sheikh Hamad Al-Tani, Sajida Heiralla Tuffah has arrived from Syria on his private jet in the end of March.

The outcome of their meeting turned out to be quite scandalous. Sajina claims that the person she encountered was not her husband, but his double. If someone were to say for sure that it was not insinuation, it would have been easy to believe the wife with a 25-year experience. It is also possible to assume that Saddam has simply changed since the day of his sons' deaths, June 24 2003. This however is highly unlikely. In case we believe Hussein"s wife, all DNA testing of the ex-Iraqi leader should be considered a mere fake. Overall, today there remain more questions then there are answers.

You have led a pampered life for decades and have billions in cash. You have to flee. You would choose to hide in:

a. some obscure safe haven that's willing to take your money, where you can still more-or-less live high off the hog.

b. a dirt-floored mud hut where there's no hot water unless you build a fire and heat a battered tin pot yourself. Matter of fact, you have to pump the water yourself.

With all the lies and rest of the deceptions anything is possible, but even with your eyes seeing it happen does not always make it a fact. After all, the loser of the the last General Election for pResident did take office, or should I have said steal?

. . . nobody on earth would possibly want to play that part. Dead — maybe. If that really is a live body double, they must be treating him like a king behind the scenes. All of the torture bullshit would have to be an act.

that we somehow have saddam's dna fingerprint. i remember them mentioning this towards the beginning of "shock and awe" when they were trying to match the dead bodies against his dna.
