3. me, too, but I have to get up in less than four hours
Holbrooke lists all the chief war criminals, and all the goals they set out before the war, and said the ONLY one they've accomplished is removing Saddam.

now he's smacking Pat B down, talking about how the handover will be in Brahimi's hands.

says pacifying/liberating Fallujah is an oxymoron....impossible

we are rapidly approaching an untenable situation

public is going to find out that they're lying about the press telling us things are better than they are

brings up Vietnam experience (being SHOT at in Mekong Delta); says we'd better learn lessons from there

pat: should we not go?

RH: immediate pullout? no. what we should do is replace American force with multinational military force......not UN peacekeeping force

PB: we can't bring in UN....they'll get blown up. they don't want any foreigners

RH: good point. attacks are NOT by mob. they're ORGANIZED. they can STOP it. it's political. american departure will turn it over to organized, wrongly directed factions. we have to stay long enough to calm things down, but make them realize that Americans are not really the enemy/occupiers

either way, though, we/Iraq/UN/NATO are SCREWED BLUED TATTOED to each other

there is no solution

THANKS, neocons!

6. how bout VP?
would you love to see him trade VIET NAM being SHOT AT stories with mr. other priorities?

that alone would be worth it

VP candidates aren't that important

but THINK about THAT!

and THINK about what Kerry can do with Vietnam references in his debates, even if they're with empty chairs/cowboy hat on top

he should come out for one in uniform, with purple hearts, other medals on

how sweet would that be?

9. Well, the debate with "Mr. Other Priorities" would indeed be sweet!
However, I still like Holbrooke in a diplomatic role...

7. while others on show are criticizing FBI
Johnson says that the "worker bees" did an excellent job getting at facts on the ground.

the problem was at the administrative level, and somebody has to be held responsible
