Some people look at form, others at substance.
Many people will gush at how a speech sounds rather than analyze whether or not the words are truthful, or even whether the actions created from those words are harmful. Democrats/progressives have been pointing out for years now that * does not ever follow through on his words with similar actions, and many times those actions are contrary to what was originally stated. I don't need to point out examples. There are literally hundreds out there for all who wish to see.

My observations have been reduced to this nugget of wisdom. Some people like form over substance, even if the intentions of those who propagate the worship of empty form are to destroy those who prefer it. Some prefer to be told what to believe, told how to live their lives and what thoughts to carry in their heads, and others don't. Those who accept this layer of form prefer superficial, parental "kiss the boo boo mommy" solutions rather than dig for acceptable, workable answers. This may be because they are unable or unwilling to grasp the results of an action. Perhaps, they simply enjoy being comforted by a parental type. Maybe they are just plain intellectually lazy.

I don't want a president who sounds "forceful" and uses force to uncaringly kill thousands of innocents for his selfish purposes, and then lies about those reasons to the nation.

I don't want a president who promotes the love of all things military, then limits the ability of veterans to obtain quality health care.

I don't want a president who speaks to me as though I am some child who couldn't possibly understand the strange, complex workings of governmental affairs. I honestly feel, just by reading transcripts of speeches from this administration, that they believe it best to dummy down the text to the point that a third grader can understand it. That could be a matter for the propaganda experts to take up. After all, appeal to the base emotions, and you can achieve a connection.

I hope this monologue isn't too rambling in nature. It is the middle of the night, and I should be dreaming peaceful dreams rather than posting my sometimes seemingly disconnected thoughts on the government.

At least we still have our dreams.

2. I never knew who said that but right on.
Recall your Mom and Father saying, actions count more than words?

3. I cannot decide which he is worse at,
form or substance.

I suppose it is substance.

His form hasn't murdered 15k people and counting.
