- Nothing about his not answering ANY questions or his incoherent rambling. Nothing about the FACT that Iraq has NOTHING to do with Bush's* so-called 'war on terrorism'. What more proof is needed that the American media is controlled by the Bush* Government?
- Bush* could have stood there and drooled and the media would have reported that he was the greatest leader this country has ever seen. The American media has enabled Bush* to lie to the American people and get away with it...especially concerning the subjects of 9-11 and Iraq. Together they have convinced a majority of Americans that the slaughter in Iraq was a necessary part of fighting terrorism.
- The corporate media has joined Bush* in his treason to keep the truth from the American people. Expect this collusion to continue until Bush* is safely back in the White House. Meanwhile...any criticism of Bush* will continue to be dismissed as partisan rhetoric of the 'liberal media' or 'conspiracy theories'.
1. CBS couldn't get to repeat of "King of Queens" fast enough
The media as usual went soft after the press blabbering. I dodn't expect much, but it was silly to have them report this conference in any serious tone. It was a performance of a world leader that could not be believed. We have a President that is so clueless he is lost when not reading from a script. But CBS saw the writing on the wall..........quick, get "King of Queens" on immediately.
2. Where was the followup? The Investigative Reporting?
- Some Americans were fooled into thinking the press was being 'tough' on Bush* because they asked him embarrassing questions. But Bush* was allowed to ramble without the media challenging his answers (or non-answers) after the fact.
- America is doomed...not simply because of Bush*...but because the media no longer recognizes that they're part of the democratic process.
