I've Showered Twice Since The Press Conference
I THINK I got it all off of me.

Reach out people. Do what's right.

Hug a Junior High School English Teacher today. After last night's debacle, each and every one of them needs it.

8. Now I understand
why DUers talk about needing a bath after watching Bush*. I usually don't watch or listen to him, because I get too riled up at the sound of his voice. But last night for some reason I watched the whole thing. There's a certain fascination in trying to figure out exactly what it is about him that makes him so damned CREEPY.

But the effect over all is to make you feel dirty and depressed. I think it's because you know that a lot of your compatriots think he's a real "president" or even a real person. And that press corps sitting there acting as if they are in the presence of authority. And the whole machinery of the US government propping him up, as if he was actually our president.

It's humiliating.

Hey, I polished off a bottle of wine. Then I looked into how I can travel overseas and take my cats with me - since it may be permament

11. Sully says: "president clear, forceful, impassioned, determined"
"This was not an average performance. I found it Bush at his best. He needs to do it more. "

This is the basic media spin on the press conference. You and I know it was horrifying, as do even the wingers and other knowledgeable Murkans who say Bush did well.

They KNOW they're lying, just like Karen Hughes to Tucker Carson, and THEY DO NOT CARE.

I spoke to my 75 year-old mother during the last part of the press conference. She thinks Shrub did OK, and she "just doesn't like much about that John Kerry."

She and I agreed to no longer discuss politics.

Most of the American people are STUPID AND WILLFULLY, EVEN EAGERLY, BLIND.

12. Yep.
Without exaggeration, I felt a slight twinge of nausea last night. It really is sickening that this retard is the President of the United States.

Almost as sickening as the fact that so many people love him.
