What single event began Bush's downward slide into hell?
I say it was when Terry McAuliffe had the guts to call Bush AWOL live on national television and put the Rethugs on the defensive for the first time. The Rethugs were not ready for that. I wasn't ready either to be honest with you. I thought there was no doubt Terry was going to be drummed out of politics over that comment. A year ago he would have been. I was still holding my breath for a week later. Its been all downhill for Chimp boy from there. Thats what I think anyway.

3. I'd say the Turkey stunt myself
That backfired on him BIGTIME!

Of course, claiming that a British pilot that never existed could have scrapped this top secret mission, and the story about soldiers who had to be screened to attend the event, plus the others who didn't eat a hot Thanksgiving meal because of it didn't help.

5. Falluja.
The siege of Falluja will be looked back on as the beginning of the end for him. If anyone needs a reason why (or about 70 and counting of them):

17. His parents are to blame.
Rich folks have a tough task raising kids with character. So many born into wealth become slovenly curs like GWB. Bush never developed character because his parents don't have any.

19. Richard Clarke's Book. The only book which was taken seriously
enough to get the Chimp on the Defensive. And it caused Rove to "over-reach," by hitting back too hard on a guy that they really couldn't discredit.
