Is the media toughening up on Shrub?
It seems to me that every conference they get a bit edgier. Still a long way to go from the Watergate days, but a move in the right direction.

Maybe they are finally realizing that they have the power. If the Administration doesn't allow them access 'cause they pissed the Admin off, the Admin has no outlet.

FINALLY the press has maybe figured out what we all knew a long time ago?

Don't get me wrong, there is still way to much softballing (I love the part where b*shit mentioned about the "question not being submitted ahead of time so he could formulate an answer.")

1. NPR
They are going the wrong way. This morning they were discussing how Bush had gone a long way last night to shoring up his reelection. What did I miss?

2. NPR...
... is a lost cause. I've been ringing the bell here for over a year. NPR was a MAJOR cheerleader for the war before it started and they have been actively dishonest in their reporting of it.

Stop wasting your money, NPR is just another whore media outlet that you can get for free anywhere.

3. Yess, Hell YEAH, I posted last night that when he got BITCHY with the
AP reporter for calling him SIR.

Reporters and journalists are competitive but they respect each other and want to be respected collectively. When they ask questions the answers they get are blatent lies. Then they have to report that LIE because that is the official BushCo. line.

They know they are being played.

Last night CNN played the SIR clip
Anderson Cooper reported on the real deal @ press conference by comparing it to baseball. One striking moment is when Anderson said that reporters will not field too hard of a question for FEAR of being shunned and not called upon in future press conferences.

I could go on and on, but I won't cuz we are all beginning to see the tide turn my friend.

Now we need to pray that John Kerry picks Wesley Clark as his running mate.
