How Fantastic! Listening to Air America re: Bush's speech fiasco

What a breath of fresh air to be able to listen to Air America and hear the truth about what people think about Chimpy's speech last night.

They just dissected it with comments like "Take your time, Mr. President", etc. ending with the turkey farm and mustard gas quote.

I feel liberated! Anyone else?

2. Wish I Could Hear Air America -- IN CHICAGO

Sadly, they've been playing Spanish news on 950 A.M. since 7 this morning.

It would be nice if someone over there, y'know, actually tried to put them BACK ON THE AIR.

Could someone please forward this to them and tell them?

What's going on? I'm in L.A. and thank God it's very clear here. It's refreshing to hear commentary. They just analyzed how Ashcroft really got off the hook yesterday and were the commissioners fearful. I thought his testimony was disgusting as were the commissioners (I lost all respect for them).

7. Losing Respect for Air America

On another DU post, they report that there's a "contract dispute" with the Chicago station and that's why they switched back to Spanish news.

I didn't hear that, and it's a damn shame that I have to read about it on a non-AA blog rather than on their web site.

I want this to succeed, but the management has to be MUCH more responsive and open about their problems.

This is, if you'll forgive the term, Bush-league.

last night. Whether you like a host or not is irrelevant. The fact that they are on the AIR and on OUR side is comforting. Radio Personalities aside, AAR must succeed and we here @ DU must help them.
If everyone listens to at least 1 show a day. They will do well. If they do well then they will be able to afford to hire Mike Malloy, Ed Shultz and others.

WE MUST support AAR for our SANITY!!
