But I get the sense that he did not do well. Even the RW radio punks this morning were spouting "what he SHOULD have said" and "how he SHOULD have handled those disrespectful reporters".

If they're Monday morning QB's - then there must not have been anything they could spin to his advantage... HA!

Oh yes: Roddick won 6-1, 7-5 over Ken Carlsen to advance in the US NAtional Clay Court Championships. In the second game, Alex Bogolovo beat 2nd seed Mardy Fish 1 and 3. And that's the sports from Houston.

Didn't watch because I can't stand the guy. From switching around this a.m. I don't think this was anything great. In fact, just as I expected---the media gave Bush free primetime air space to say absolutely the same shit he's been saying all along. This is criminal---Bush knows there will be no "primetime" news conference for Kerry. Talk about using the Iraq situation to get his lying sack of shit mug on tv spewing his campaign garbage. Disgusting.

after driving 1 1/2 hours through a pouring rain. I wasn't at all concerned about missing the conference since it would actually be in reality a glorified informercial. I checked it out on c-span.org this morning--you guys weren't kidding about his tie strobing. And he actually castigated a reporter for asking a question which hadn't been submitted? How come nobody talks about that?

Oh, yes: The drink and food prices were reasonable, and the songs Slipknot played from their forthcoming album actually had some substance.
