Outraged @ ashcroft blaming Clinton !
I was watching asscrack testify yesterday and was outraged by his comments that the subject of terrorism was not addressed in the last decade, of course implying that it was our last great President Clintons fault. For someone who is in charge of "justice" , how could he be so unjust in his opinion. President Clinton worked tirelessly for the American peole ,even with his fooling around with an intern ,I beieve he was able to get more done in one day then bush can in a month. I think its terrible that President Clintons hard work habits are being repaid by others blaming him for the death of 3,000+ inocents. Even one major news paper had in its headline Ashcroft Blames Clinton for failures of 9/11. I hope this is not a dublicate post, I looked up and down the forum and did not see any referance to this outrageous accusation ! Iam sure Clinton would admit in hinesite that he wished more had been done while he was in office .Then lets not forget that every move Clinton made was cause for a investagation ,or wag the dog would be thrown all over the place. When are the Dems or any fair minded person on this commision going to defend Clinton, how dare asscrack blame Clinton, when bush was much more at fault for ignoring everything Clinton .bush and asscrack are so lacking in their mental abilities that they would quickly disreguard the hard work of others while not even doing any of their own hard work on the subject. I hope when Clinton gets up there he sets the record straight, since no one is stepping up and doing it for him. Boy I miss the BigDog !!

2. You're not alone. We're all outraged (at least most of us)

But this administration has been blaming Clinton for everything ever since it took office. You get used to stuff like that. But reading it in the headlines didn't set well with me. I want to know who Ashcroft think he is fooling, besides the bush bootlickers? I am also outraged at that pathetic performance last night by Bush*, maybe not so much his performance because we here at DU expect that, but how the media doesn't have the honesty to admit that this country is being lead by a buffoon.

4. And all the commission SHOULD have said was:
"OK, so what changes did you make prior to 9/11 to help address these problems?"

Asscrack was covering his, because he knows damn well that not only did he do NOTHING to fight terror, he actually de-emphasized it so he could go after the dangerous pot smokers.
