Outsourcing in Iraq

I suppose this isn't all that surprising, and I probably should know this already, but I didn't. I was just listening to this on AirAmerica Radio. Ariana Huffington(sp?) mentioned that at a time when Iraq is suffering from 60% unemployment, American companies over there such as Halliburton are outsourcing their labor contracts to South Asian laborers.

What's up with that? As Rachel Maddow said, it's like they thought, Okay, what can we do to piss off the one Iraqi left that's doesn't currently hate us?
