Pollsters normally do some fast polling but I can't find any.

Anyone else seen any. Could be that they are too much of an embarrassment to publish.

1. I'd like to know, too
But I'll bet you the sheeple loved that regurgitation of lies and platitudes.

2. None national, only local onlines
And the majority of viewers were satisified by Bush's speech. The link has subsequently disappeared.

5. While not scientific...
If their poll shows this, I think perhaps there's no "bounce" from this conference. I think it's good that there's controversy blackening Bush's credentials in these areas, but I am hopeful that within a month or so, a new offensive on domestic issues can be opened.

I'll never understand why people think he's so great.

While I was at the Y working out last night, a guy came in and immediately took the treadmill in front of the TV with *. He literally tripped twice on the thing he was paying such rapt attention...I'm not kidding.

It's depressing.

6. I paid close attention too
And I thought that Bush sounded as though English was his native tongue. However, I thought that what he said didn't match what I had been seeing on TV about Iraq. My guess is that his supporters still support him; those who oppose him like me still oppose him; and undecideds will wait and see what happens in Iraq.

7. polls on speech
There is one running at iWon.com, it will be up all day. Interesting results so far, about 1/3 for, 1/3 against and 1/3 didn't watch. I'm pretty sure you have to sign up as a member to vote there. It used to be very conservative and I'm glad to see that its changing, even gradually.

8. The didn't watch's
It seems to me that the people who didn't watch are probably a mixed bag. There'll be some who don't care about politics and others who couldn't watch for some reason. But I'll bet a sizable number didn't watch because they can't stomach the moron. I almost didn't for that reason.
