Subj: Interesting

Looking for tax information on the 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel ranch property in Crawford, Texas on the McLennan County website http://www.mclennancad.org/.

Can't find the ranch, can't find George. Who owns that ranch, I wonder?

2. First off, it's not a "ranch."
Gotta have cattle to call it a "ranch." Second, he bought it in 1999 so he'd look like a good ol' boy in the 2000 election.

4. Raygun cleared brush on his ranch - so Shrub clears brush on his "ranch"
Pubbie symmetry. But unlike Raygun, Shrub cannot ride a horse.

6. well, whomever it is
they're getting a HUGE tax break on the property....

i was reading an article the other day on tax breaks intended to go to farmland, being taken advantage of by properties which aren't intended for such purposes, and surprisingly they listed bush taking advantage of this on his property. i believe he saved more than $20,000 by doing so, taking the taxes from about $40,000 to $20,000.

..... this fucking multimillionaire is saving himself an extra $20,000 a year more on a tax break intended for other people. not as if i'm surprised or anything, but we all know this would be considered a "scandal" in another anonymous past administration, and treated as such by the national media.

7. Maybe the same people
who own Ronald Reagan's BelAir home. I doubt Ronnie ever bought anything once he got into politics.
