4. Let us contemplate the mushiness of the question:
"Did President Bush give a convincing performance at Tuesday's news conference?"

Not: "Do you think he told the truth?"
Or: "Did his answers satisfy any questions you had?"
Or: "Do you think the questions were vetted in advance?"

No. "Was his 'performance' (and the use of that term cracks me up) CONVINCING?" IOW, "How big of an idiot are you?"
