How is what Kennedy and Byrd said more damaging than what Tenent
says? The RW (non-thinking) criticize Kennedy and Byrd for voicing their opposition to Bush policies as giving "aid and comfort to the enemy" and "sending the wrong message to our troops."

How is thier opposition more damaging than the Director of the CIA testifying that we are still not prepared to stop terrorist attacks?
Or for that matter the things that the Republicans say about the inefficiency and ineffectiveness of our intelligence agencies?

1. Or, how is it more damaging
than what Bush said in the news conference last night. He said he was disappointed in some of the troops.

He never elaborated. I wonder what that was all about.

2. Bush and Cheney slammed military preparedness in the 2000 campaign
I think it convinced bin Laden to strike. Of course, time has shown Bill Clinton's military was prepared and plenty capable.

Unfortunately, if you put an effective, well trained and well armed military in the hands of an Idiot Commander in Chief you get a disaster no matter how good they are.

5. Good point about giving the "enemy" reason to strike.
Bad mouthing your own country and its military at the highest level.

4. Looks to me like our fabulously wealthy nation has a pitiful intelliegence
apparatus. Yeah--and I have a bridge to sell you

They are so stupid that Bush will be allowed to get away with incompetence because he can blame all of every thing that he lacked in leadership on 9-11 on these incompetent intlelligence services.

Well I just cannot believe it, or will not believe it.

A man who was not elected, but who was forced upon us by the on these pricks in the Supreme Court whose children needed a job and wanted a fantastic job that paid a lot of money, propelled an idiot inot the White House. The people did NOT want him--they did not vote for him but their votes were not counted and Bush the stupid has run roughshoed over us all ever since

The sad part is that because of the SCOTUS illigal decision, this evil man has succeeded in destroying everything we have believed waws good about our country.

HE is a prick and a liar and an evil man--get him out--he is evil and his so very stupid press conference yesterday proves it.
