After 2 weeks, what are your favorite shows on AAR?

I haven't heard enough of their morning show (the one with Marc Maron) to put on my list. I'm not up that early.

BTW if Mike Malloy was hired he would be #1 one on my list.

Haven't heard enough of the others.

I bought XM radio specifically for AA, but they don't play the full schedule. I get The first 3 shows, then Ed Schultz (I'm undecided about him - I want to like him but I don't trust him) from 3-6, 1 hour of Randi and then they preempt the last hour of Majority Report for The Alan Colmes show.

I wish they'd play the full schedule as AA intended it.

They preempt the last hour of Majority Report for The Alan Colmes show? That's sad! Alan Colmes and Liberal is like toothpaste and orange juice! They both leave me with a sour taste.

I was about to buy that one

You Mac users, here is an AppleScript to launch AirAmerica streams.


tell application "RealOne Player"

The script opens RealOne, then opens the Air America stream. Nothing fancy.


Put it in your AppleScript Editor, run it to make sure it works, then save as an application. Give it a name like AirAmericaStream.

Your AppleScript editor will be in your Applications folder inside the AppleScript folder.

You can put other URL's in there.

That way you don't have to go to the sites, just click the icon and RealPlayer will launch and play the stream.

I dont listen to the morning show because im sleepy.

I listen to Randi and Al most so they must be my faves. But then too, it has to do with the time of day they are on.

I do also tune in Morning Sedition, Unfiltered, Majority Report, and Laura Flanders at times too, though.

but i'm still sleeping at that time. I do hope they start doing new overnight shows (Mike Malloy, hint, hint)

I love each and every show. And soon I'll be buying Serius Satellite radio for only one reason - Air America Radio.
