John Kerry clip on CBS
That guy at City University who questioned Kerry was shown on tape on the CBS nightly news. Kerry was very intelligent and controlled when he answered that man's objections. I think that was a very good image. Calm, cool, and collected. Not to mention that he got his message out that he's not going to back down and make America look "weak". Did anyone else see that? I'm really glad he's our nominee.

6. I like him a hell of a lot.
Sadly, I don't get to see much of him because I only get CNN on cable here in Canada (I'm studying at University of Toronto), and we all know CNN is so scared of Kerry they won't show any of his statements. I just saw that one clip on CBS and I was really impressed. He gave an intelligent, impassioned (in a good way) response. More importantly, it came across well on TV, which sadly has become perhaps the most important criteria for political success. He even got applause from the crowd! Those people who say he's not excited and impassioned enough are wrong, in my opinion.

I hope to God that Bush* tries to debate Kerry. Bush* won't stand a chance.

25. He has to debate Kerry
The debate is a tradition. If he backs out, everyone accept the most backward FOX-retardican will see him for the slippery coward he is. He will go to the debates, his trainers will pray for him, and, if Kerry let's lose like we all want him to, Bush will be slaughtered in the most verbally gory way. Then, I will laugh and drink a 6-pack.

5. Do you really want him admit he was "tricked"?
Real presidents are not "tricked." At least that's what I was told...

7. Real Presidents don't start wars to further a personal
political and economic agenda. The basis of supporting the Office of President on the IWR was to give him and the UN negotiating room to find the WMD and authorize war only if Hussein did not cooperate. This approval was based on the intel from this administration.....specifically that Iraq was preparing to attack us with nuclear weapons. They lied to Congress, the UN, and the world.

Those lies have cost us 600+ American lives, 1000,s of causulties, and 10,000+ innocent Iraq's lives. It will cost us $200BB and our international reputation.

But worse than that, Bush has damaged the Office of President by lying to Congress. Future Presidents will find Congresses far less trusting of the intentions of a President and will have this unelected fraud's actions to refer to.

Why do Republicans hate America so much?

9. You didn't address my question
Should he really admit he was "tricked?" Wise men are not "tricked" by their lessers.

10. Excuse me?
I think and speak for myself. What are you trying to imply?

I don't think it wise to admit to being "tricked" by a lesser human. Do you really disagree with my assessment?

11. You said "you were told", so I naturally assume it was the RNC.
Maybe it was Rush, though.

Kerry was tricked, as was the entire Congress. Lucky for Dimson, the Republicans control Congress....and we know that group of cowards will never impeach a President that wasn't lying about sex.

Sorry you don't understand that trust is an important concept between Congress and the Presidency. But you will, eventually.

21. What's your problem?
You know what bushbeater is trying to say. Your just picking a fight. Bushbeater isn't defending Bush, he/she's pointing out that those all important fence sitters who don't know what we have long ago concluded, that Bush is a slippery little turd, may not feel motivated to vote for Kerry if he weakens his own leadership persona by saying that he is susceptible to being fooled by slippery little turds.

23. It's kind of a catch 22
That's why I voted for Dean. He wouldn't be in that position, because he has never been fooled by the slippery little turd.

He was "brainwashed." And once he teared up with emotion. Those two things were the end of old Ed.

24. Not tricked - betrayed
If I'm not mistaken, Bush promised to go back to the UN for a second vote. However, Bush bugged the UN offices. And, when Bush realized that he would lose the second vote at the UN, he went ahead with the invasion and has since spread the story that Saddam was not cooperating with the inspectors (even though he was)
